    5) Drink shade-grown coffee. Shade-grown coffee provides shelter for migratory birds.

    6) Use less plastic. Birds mistake plastic for food harming them. Avoid single-use plastics and recycle.

    7) Watch birds and share what you see. Join Cornell Lab's eBird or Project Feeder Watch to record you bird observations.
